Help Give a Voice to People Who Have Lost Theirs
Acapela Group builds the voices inside speech devices: the technology that lets someone who has lost the ability to speak choose their words and hear them spoken aloud, in a voice that sounds human rather than robotic.
Those voices have to be built from real human speech. That is what this session is: you read everyday sentences aloud in a studio, in your ordinary speaking voice.
We are recording four American accents: California, Michigan, Colorado and Texas, so that someone using a speech device can have a voice that sounds like where they are from, instead of a generic one.
Your recordings are used to build new voices, not to copy yours. No voice will be created to sound like you, and your recordings will never be used to identify you.
How it works
